	Notorious New York Restaurant run by the charismatic David Hunt, Peter Walsh and Tess O'Connor. James can frequently be found here after competing in New York or on the East Coast. You'll find him tucking into a sizzerling steak and drinking the legendary Coogans Ale before finishing with chocolate brownies. It is a 'home from home' for James and the place where James asked Alex to marry him. The restaurant and bar is truly a unique experience for anyone visiting New York. Located next door to the famous Amory, be sure to check out the great atmosphere and spectacular food that the place offers.
	Coogan's is the home of the "Salsa, Blues and Shamrocks 5K Run" For six years now, Coogan's has been the title sponsor and organizer of this race. It is held annually, and it takes place in the neighborhood streets of Washington Heights, including a loop through historic Fort Tyron Park. Spirited kid races follow the 5K, and music, from bagpipes to banjoes and salsa dancers, fill the air from start to finish. James fiancée, Alex, competed in the 2005 race on behalf of James who was competing in the European Championships in Madrid.
