Asthma attack in Eugene

James suffers from a massive pollen induced asthma attack in Eugene today in the Bowerman Mile in the Prefontaine Classic today. James was bitterly disappointed with the result.

"The pollen in the air was incredibly strong. Yesterday my eyes swelled up so much I thought I’d been in the ring with Tyson!"

Eugene is notorious for its pollen count. Athletes such as Jacquim Cruz and Jim Ryan reportedly could not stay the town for long due to their hay fever.

It just so happened that today the count was wildly high. I've been fine all week and my training is better then ever. This is only the second major attack that I have had - it is rare - I'll get back on the horse - I'm in the best shape of my life!
